I go to many small venues where local bands are playing (sort of small bars). Its dark, minus the lights that are cast on stage, and of course the musicians arent going to keep still. How should I set my camera so that I achieve the most clear professional photograph?
any advice on what settings to set my camera to on different locations?
A fast lens a tripod and a class in photography.
one month to go now, here comes again another year of learning life,, and i would be a freshman college for this coming school year.. up to this time,, my preferred course still undetermined.. i have made up my mind for several times before regarding to that matter… i can’t really decide,, perhaps this would be the most complicated stage in my life..
i wanna be productive someday.. i dont want to be in a hurry.. so please help me to my decision!

My history: Recognising the hypnotic state: Listend to double induction to confuse the conscious mind in october believed i was in trance. then In March did a ‘Stage hypnosis wkd course" and was hypnotized sucessfully on the sunday. Since then listening to mp3 hypnosis recordings Haven’t had much luck going under. Do I need more live sessions. 4 my sub/C. to recognize state?
If you try to make it happen it probably won’t. I do not know what you have on your mp3 but it may not work for self induction.
To start with … Stay away from "stage hypnosis" Do you really think you can learn enough about hypnosis in a week end to be able to do anything properly. Sorry, not picking on you but rather the people who teach "short courses". I would advise you that you have learned enough to cause problems and you probably wasted your $$$$$
Check with your comunity college or university and see what they offer.
How much piano could you learn in a weekend??
In your course were you taught how to properly word a suggestion ? what the facial signs of a sucessful suggestion were? These can be seen easily by a hypnotist but how do you observe them on you?
when I work with a person, induction after two or three sessions is accomplished in two-three seconds and it may not be necessary to say anything except to ask if they are ready to go into the trance state.The next thing is deepening. You probably need a suggestion to go into trance state It should be given while you are in a fairly deep state. I have one friend i gave that sugestion to about 18 years ago and it still works even though I may not see her for a number of years.You should get some books on clinical hypnosis, La Crone , Mc Masters and of course M. Ericson. Forget the ones that promise to give you all the secrets an d forbidden techniques etc ad nasium they do not!! They take your money.

Also, when do you write the research paper? During the course, or when you have time to dedicate totally to it 100%?
Write the research paper during the course. Study for the exam during the end stages of the course, and devote about 8 hours per semester hour of the course.
Let’s say I knew how to play guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. And I had entire original songs recorded, to be played back while I performed with a single instrument on stage. Of course I’d be singing at the same time too.
Which instrument should I play? And why?

Really it should be what you do best in. But uhh, generally speaking, it’s hard to drum and sing at the same time, which is why you don’t see any Drum Singers around. Bass is hard to play and sing at the same time, as some bass licks can get rather complex. You can do rhythm guitar. Lead guitar is doable, but like bass it can get hard. Key Board is good too, but it’s visually not as cool nowadays. It worked for something corporate and panic, so yea. there you go.
I am returning to teaching, have a french degree and would like to find a course to enable me to deliver french across key stage 1 and 2 – are there government funded courses available in wiltshire, and how long to they run for?

I know Newcastle University do a PGCE Primary with specialism in French! But I can’t speak for your area.

just wondering because my husky is 2 1/2 and like most huskies has a bit of a prey drive (she killed one of my small parrots last winter but it had clipped wings and no defense). however i’d like to bring a kitten into the house…we would be careful with it in its smaller stages of course…but i was just wondering if it is a good idea or not and if a peaceful co-existence can be achieved.
Most huskies have a very high prey drive; any small animal is fair game to them and that’s not something they can "un-learn". Some can life peacefully with small animals, but usually they have to be introduced to small animals as a puppy.
Your dog has already exhibited a very high prey drive by killing a parrot. Getting a kitten is probablly not a good idea. Kittens like to run and that’s what often gets the dog’s attention. They also make cool noises, so the dog ends up thinking it’s a really cool interactive squeak toy.
Please reconsider bringing a kitten into the household. It only takes a second for tragedy to occur.
I’m a senior directing a 10-minute scene for a class. Part of the scene is really, REALLY intense … and I know how I want to direct it; unfortunately, the university hasn’t offered a Stage Combat course in years. The scene doesn’t involve dangerous weapons, but it does require some quick maneuvering of the characters involved. They need to know – in particular – how to roll and fall safely … and it’s up to me to show them. Any ideas on REALLY good visual training aids?
If you can’t find a stage combat instructor (try the phone book, really) and you are dead set on doing it anyway, look for a martial arts school, especially one that teaches Aikido or Jujitsu, and tell them exactly what you are looking to do. You might be able to get a group private lesson specifically for falls and rolls and other ‘ukemewaza.’
