Not in his current stage of course.. Do you think he was good at basketball in his younger days?
No, probably not. I researched his background and found that his association with basketball started in 1966 and that was as an "outside counsel" to NBA basketball and joined the NBA as "general counsel" in 1978 and his rise to commissioner began from there. All of this was after graduating from Columbia Law School in 1966 and subsequently passing the bar.
So, I said all of that to say this – he is in the NBA as commissioner, because of his busness sense and legal knowledge, not because of his ability to shoot a 3-pt shot; doubt if he can hit a free throw.

Western Europe is in Post-Christian stage.
Of course Atheism, rational thinking and Islam are filling the void
But apart from those three can you tell anything that is sweeping Europe?
The void is filled with education, intelligence and reason.

I am in a writing course and have been using bits of a novel I wrote but still in it’s early stages during the course as a guide. Now we have to write an introduction and synopsis. I am afraid that if I reveal the story somebody will pinch my idea. But it will help me with the novel. Any suggestions?
Copyright your work… that way, no one can steal it.
Then you can discuss it without worrying

Or does it mostly fuel hyper nationalism which almost always is a divisive force on the world stage?
Of course there is some of each but where does the preponderance lie? Divide or unite? Why or why not?
Yes, I think every previous world cup helped bring people together. Sadly with this current world cup it’s the South Africans and their vuvuzelas who are alientaing football fans in the rest of the world. This world cup will be remembered for the wrong reasons.

Calculate the speed of a dog running through a field if he is covering 23.7 meters in 54 seconds.
Calculate the average velocity of a dancer who moves 5 m toward the left of the stage over the course of 15 s.
speed of dog = distance / time = 23.7/54 = 0.44 m/s
velocity of dancer = same formula = 5/15 = 0.33 m/s
i think.

This week, the stage manager of the drama club I’m in asked me if I would like to be assistant stage manager. Of course I said yes, because I’m only a freshmen and since I didn’t get a part in the upcoming play, I wanted to be a part of backstage. But I didn’t actually know what they do. Does anyone know? Thanks!
As you will be an assistant stagemanger, your task will be to assist the stagemanager in the service of the production. As I am unaware of what your facilities are like for your drama club, I will suggest that your duties will be to act as additional senses and hands for the stage manager. The duties of the stagemanager with the production are to carry out the vision of the Artistic Director with the additional input of the designers. The stagemanager makes sure the blocking is written down and that what ever blocking the director has put in place is carried out by the actors during the run of the production. The stagemanager is also responsible for watching out for the safety of the performers on stage, because if the stage is unsafe it is hard to have the production go forward. Try it out, it gives you more to do when you don’t get the role and you may like it. I have friends who prefer to stagemanage productions.
These are just few notes from a person who acts, techs and directs. Also I do stagemanage shows sometimes.

A Spanish friend of mine, who is interested on taking English courses here in London, has asked me to search for language academies/colleges which are reputable yet not too expensive.
Among the names I have found over the Internet, London Meridian College (http://www.meridiancollege.co.uk) has caught my eye since it is both accredited by the British Council and its fees look reasonable. At this stage, I wonder if anyone out there can provide me input on the quality of this college, based on his/her actual experience or that of people known to him/her.
Alternatively, if you can suggest other academy/college names that are reputable yet unexpensive, that will be highly welcomed, too.
Thank you very much for your helpful guide!
Inexpensive is the word, not unexpensive!
The place you study doesn’t really matter. If you really want to do well and you work really hard then you will succeed.

Likewise i want to be a pilot. I am currently in grade 10. Mostly take maths and sciences. I am taking physics and chemistry in 11 and 12 and i am taking Uni. math in 11. In 12 take advanced functions and calculus and vectors. Just ask your student guide. But most important stuff is doind really good in maths and sciences.
