a; i admire you focus;
b; few houses are home staged now with few houses
selling anywhere near what their seller’s are asking.
c; you need to know how to do home decorating.

there are myriad books on this subject.

the biz has dropped by 2/3rds.

I suggest you have a corallery backup plan–decorating
any home……..
buying fix ups and decorating them and renting them out.
and maybe getting a RE license and becoming a BUYER"S agent.

Have you ever shopped at Z Galleries? I love it, google on line to take a peek. Not sure if they have one in Houston but they do have nice things. Some reasonable and some not. At least it can give you ideas. As to the area rug Target right around 200.00 but huge! Love it!

Definately look into crate training.
It will be better for your house, and more safe for the dog.

Then, exercise! A stimulated dog will not try to stimulate himself by destroying the home.

1. Get her MORE exercise. A tired dog doesn’t do anything. She may have been getting the same amount she used to but it might not be enough anymore. My pit is just over a year old and she used to be fine with 2 15 minutes walks. Now she requires at least a 30 minute run and sometimes that isn;t even tiring her out. If she doesn’t get enough exercise, she not only destroys things but eats the destroyed peices – be glad you don’t have to pay the vet bills for that.

#2. It def. could also be seperation anixety so you can try some of the comfort calm from the pet stores or rescue remedy brand supplies which can help. Getting fixed should also help some.

#3. If there isn’t a food aggression issue in your house try giving her a bone like a bully stick – easy to digest and lasts for hours.

#4. Get a crate. My pit loves her crate – when we can’t find her she normally goes in there on her own to sleep — or if we ask her if she wants to take a shower It saves her from eating/destorying harmful things and it saves our stuff (and a trip to the vet to our stuff removed from her stomach). WHen you aren’t actively watching her keep her in the crate until this behavior stops.

either melt the marshmallows or here is a good recipe:
Ingredients

3 egg whites
shopping list
2 cups light corn syrup shopping list
1/2 tsp salt shopping list
2 cups confectioner’s sugar shopping list
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
How to make it
——————————————————————————–
In a large bowl, combine egg whites, corn syrup and salt.
Mix with mixer on high speed for 10 minutes (or until thick).
Add in icing sugar.
Beat on low speed until well blended.
Add vanilla and mix until blended.
