Why do you think you have good home decorating taste?

For all of you beginning home decorators buy Martha Stewart’s "How to Decorate". You can have a nice home without a bunch of money.

Because every time somebody comes over they say that they like what I have done and say that I am creative. I just smile and say thank you!!

    i don’t – everything is pretty much the same as when I moved in fifteen yrs. ago. I’m at a loss when it comes to decorating. Haven’t got a clue.

    I think good taste is subjective. Sure, there are pretty looking rooms in magazines. But does it involve a lot of tiny things I need to dust? I don’t care how nice it looks if I’m too busy cleaning it to enjoy it. Is the room cozy and comfortable, and just feels like a room I want to be in? When I get compliments of "I just love being in this room" or "It’s so cozy in here," I enjoy them much more than "This room looks very nice."

    because i know what i like, i dont care what martha likes, i dont believe in feng shui or what ever, and i dont ask people on here what color to paint my walls. i dont really care if someone who visits likes my house or not…as long as me and the missus like it, thats all that matters…nuff said…
