Do you think Jamie Lynn Spears, in her new OK mag interview, is fluffing up the responsibility of a baby?

Author: admin  |  Category: House-Fluffing

I was reading her interview, and she makes it seem so normal and so nice. But I think that is such a bad picture to portray to all teens out there. Because most are not well off like her and dont have their own house and, lets face it, having a baby is HARD WORK. I was young but married when I got pregnant and I was still terrified and scared to death with my first baby. I always thought I was doing something wrong. It took a long time to get comfortable in a routine and then, I had to go back to work. So that was hard as well. No sleep. A crying baby. Its not glamorous like she is portraying it. What do you think? I feel like shes setting such a bad example already but now, shes made it even worse.

I agree, but i am glad she stepped up and had the baby in stead of getting rid of it. I don’t think she should have done the article. I t seemed like she was glamorizing teen pregnancy .

I think she probably has a lot of help from her mom and possibly her boyfriend’s mom and maybe even a nanny. So I think maybe she doesn’t experience everything that comes with being a new mommy. And I agree that it sets a bad example for teen girls out there to make it seem like such a breeze.

I have not read her interview but just remember the baby is only, what, 2 weeks old. Wait until she gives another interview in 6 months when she has spit up and poop all over herself and the baby is cutting teeth and screaming.

If you think about how hard it was for you, take that and multiply it by 100, that is hard it is for her. especially being the sister to the infamous Britney. Try being a teen mom with a bazillion cameras following you around and predicting EXACTLY how you are going to screw up. If I were her, I would want to make things seem as awesome as possible to, just as a defense for myself and my child.

It is interesting how so many people think it is ok to judge and criticize celebrities for their faults and downfalls. Bottom line is she is now a momma, just like any other momma, her money doesn’t change the fact that she is a human being, worthy of all the respect ANY human being deserves.

Of course she is. She is a terrible example to the youth. I dont think they should look at her and think its cool. She’s got money, most of us dont have it like her. It will be easy cause she will have nannies, and hired help to help her out. And yes, she’s only like 2 weeks old, wait till the baby actually starts doing stuff and she wont be able to handle it. lets just hope she doesnt call in Big Sis for help. God help them…

I think that it is her life. This is why she is rich and can afford nannies because everyone is in her business. I just hope that Nickelodeon drops her. I don’t like her.

Honestly, it’s probably how she sees it right now. She hasn’t had much opportunity to have to deal with the hard parts of raising a child, and probably really doesn’t understand what she has gotten herself into.

I’d like to see more interviews with her…6 months, 1 year and 5 years down the road, to see if her perspective has changed!

And yes, it’s unfortunate that she’s giving other people the impression that it’s a cake walk. IMO, all teenagers should be required to watch (or participate in) that new show "Baby Borrowers", so that they understand the most basic of the challenges.

    I don’t think she is painting a bad picture……………..

She loves being a mother, would you have her hate her baby instead?
Even thou she isn’t married, she was working, and bringing in a very nice income. She can more then afford this baby, she can also afford to take off of work for a very long time.
As long as she is being a good mother to that baby, nothing else should matter.
It sure a heck isn’t her fault if a bunch of girls aren’t smart enough to keep their legs closed. It isn’t her fault if those girls parents, don’t do their job.

I am so sick of people blaming everything on celebrities, take some responsibility for your children.

I think she’s making a lot of money to do this article and will say whatever the magazine wants her to say in order to sell and stir up controversy. Obviously, it’s working! :)
