How would you find the speed and average velocity?

Author: admin  |  Category: Staging Courses

Calculate the speed of a dog running through a field if he is covering 23.7 meters in 54 seconds.

Calculate the average velocity of a dancer who moves 5 m toward the left of the stage over the course of 15 s.

speed of dog = distance / time = 23.7/54 = 0.44 m/s

velocity of dancer = same formula = 5/15 = 0.33 m/s

i think.
