What kind of paint would I use to repaint an old wooden shed in my backyard? Oil Based or Latex?

I know that I’d use exterior. It’s just a basic wooden shed. But would you recommend a stain instead? Thanks!

TWO GOOD COATS OF A GOOD LATEX PAINT OVER TWO GOOD COATS OF A GOOD LATEX PRIMER…..BOTH THE PAINT AND THE PRIMER SHOULD BE OF A GOOD EXTERIOR GRADE HOUSE PAINT not interior grade….. AND A BRUSH WILL PUT ON A GOOD HEAVIER COAT THAN A ROLLER……USE A GOOD GRADE POLYESTER OR NYLON BRUSH FOR LATEX PAINTS not a pure bristle brush….DOES THIS SOUND "GOOD"? GOOD I’M GLAD!….HAVE A "GOOD’ TIME AND DO A "GOOD" JOB!…

Put a coat of good latex primer on it first then a coat of exterior latex in your favorite color.
